The position is one of the public faces of the Corporate Relations team, building external relationships, attending external events on behalf of the Corporate Relations team, and working with community organizations. At the same time, the team member must be tech savvy with significant knowledge of database and website management. br   br Corporate Relations Consultant Responsibilities: /span br ul
li Builds relationships with nonprofit organizations to create and/or maintain partnerships to help leverage relations in targeted communities /li li Serves as a front line liaison to nonprofit organizations that inquire about ways to partner with Exelon /li li Acts as a liaison to employees about how to navigate the programs that Corporate Relations offers internally, including responding to inquiries on the Corporate Relations Email. /li li Assists in the creation of communications widely disseminated to external and internal audiences /li li Manages the Energy for the Community website (adding volunteer event opportunities from nonprofits and employees), troubleshoots employee issues with the website, creates news articles, updates site, and additional E4TC responsibilities that arise. /li li Reports on volunteer hours by month and year and analyzes data to inform activity and communications /li li Creates surveys for companywide dissemination, including the Volunteer Program Survey and the Energy for the Community AwardsSpecial Event Management /li li Manages and executes several signature Exelon Corporate Relations programs, including the Stay in School Initiative, The Energy for the Community Awards, and National Volunteer Week. /li /ul

li Excellent writing, organizational and communications skills /li li Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality work under tight deadlines, and at times, under limited direction /li li Proven ability to work independently and within a team /li li Must have a thorough knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft business applications, especially WORD, EXCEL, Power Point and Outlook with MS Project a plus /li li Non-profit background and/or volunteer program experience /li li College degree with an undergraduate degree in communications, marketing or public relations or related field
