Job Description
PRIMARY ROLE
The Corporate Strategy Lead will work closely with Corporate Development, R&D, Global Product Strategy franchises and the New Products Group, as well as other functional leaders and internal stakeholders to lead key strategic initiatives and programs in support of the Corporate Strategy Function.

This role will be expected to provide intellectual leadership while driving collaborative execution and alignment through management of matrix teams comprised of senior business leaders as well as external vendors from time to time. The Corporate Strategy Lead will be responsible for leading the development of supporting analyses and insights related to key strategic initiatives including market / competitive assessments, financial analysis, benchmarking, and other approaches. This role will also be expected to structure complex and ambiguous problems, synthesize findings, develop creative / innovative options, make logically supported recommendations, and facilitate decision-making sessions with executive leaders. Key skills required include excellent communication, analytical, competitive assessment, strategic/critical thinking and presentation skills, as well as senior presence and influence to work closely with Senior Leaders, including the Executive Committee and potentially the Board of Directors. Strong EQ, organizational savvy, and a collaborative nature are paramount given the need to lead and develop alignment on cross-functional topics working closely with senior executives across the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
70% of Time -
Lead key strategic initiatives and programs in support of the Corporate Strategy function, including process management, strategic analysis, content development, and decision-making / organizational alignment

30% of Time -
Work closely with relevant functions to structure, guide, and provide input into functionally-led efforts.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
MBA or advanced degree (required)
College degree (required)
Management or Strategy consulting experience (preferred)
8+ years of relevant industry experience or consulting roles
