If so, consider this exceptional Corporate Tax Manager job with one of our largest clients who is the North American parent entity of a global company. /span br br As the Tax Manager, you will be responsible for all tax functions for the parent entities and multiple subsidiaries. This position is a key position and will be part of the Tax Advisory Committee for the organization and work alongside senior management with all pertinent tax matters. This is a high visibility position with direct reporting to the President of the North American parent entity. Primary responsibilities include management of the entire tax function including provision, tax research, tax preparation and filing of all returns including federal / state income, sales use and property tax returns. Within the past year, the company has moved from an outsourced tax function to a transition plan of in-sourcing this key function. This person will serve as the main leader for continual transition as well as management/guidance to Tax team. br br As a Corporate Tax Manager, your main responsibilities will include: br ul
li Management of tax team for preparation of tax provision including Federal and State returns. Continuous training and mentoring to ensure strong performance of department and development opportunities exist. /li li Partner with all entities Accounting and Tax leaders to obtain identify tax opportunities and risks /li li Serve as key contact to public accounting firm to continue towards full transition of an in-sourced tax function /li li Review of all consolidated state filings /li li Tax research and planning, acquisition planning, due diligence etc. /li li Federal and state tax planning /li li Strategic planning and KPI management of the tax department /li /ul
br You are a qualified candidate for the Corporate Tax Manager position if you possess the following qualifications: br br ul
li Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a CPA /li li Minimum of eight (8+) years of experience in federal and state tax compliance; must include experience handling consolidated corporate tax returns and provision /li li Experience either in large organization in specialized tax team or in a mid-sized or large public accounting firm /li li Ability to research technical tax issues and communicate these issues with non-tax individuals /li li Demonstrated success with management /leadership of a team /li /ul
