JOB DESCRIPTION

You will primarily support Deltek CostPoint with some support for Deltek Time and Expense, Deltek CRM CostPoint interface, Cognos 8 financial reports, Cognos TM1 CostPoint interface, and financial reports. Your administration duties will include user maintenance, patch and hot fix installations, SQL queries, updating accounting and project structural elements, issue analysis and resolution, audit support for internal controls, and functional support.

Highlights of Responsibilities:
Ensure overall data integrity by maintaining key internal control processes over user access and user groups, and reconciliations of CostPoint tables after version upgrades, patches and hotfix installations.
Complete key internal control reconciliations of CostPoint's subsidiary project and general ledger to PM reporting database.
Implement and maintain security access to CostPoint as well as any future financial application systems.
Support technical upgrades or patches through testing and troubleshooting prior to applying system changes.
Monitor system performance.
Provide technical support and analysis to the Finance and Accounting group on time-sensitive projects as assigned.
Coordinate with the report writer as needed to facilitate the creation and improvement of reports and queries.
Troubleshoot user issues and coordinating with vendor support.
Coordinate among groups for cross functional issue resolution.
Able to work after-hours support as needed on infrequent basis.


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3-5 year's of experience with Deltek CostPoint (some version 7 experience preferred) as an administrator and/or functional expert.
Strong working knowledge of CostPoint Accounting, Project, People, and Materials modules.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Education and Experience:

Experience using Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience using Cognos 8/10 Report Writer.
Experience with OnBase.
Experience using CostPoint CRM (GovWin).
Experience using TM1.
