Courseware Developer/Programmer - JDTC Position Description CGI Federal is seeking a Courseware Developer responsible for updating and modifying curriculum and self-paced training modules for the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Global Force Management (GFM), and Global Command and Control System-Joint (GCCS-J classes. This position supports the Joint Deployment Training Center (JDTC) located at Fort Eustis, VA Your future duties and responsibilities Maintains and modifies existing distributed learning products for JOPES, GFM, GCCS-J, and other courses as identified.Develops new online training modules and curriculum for GCCS-J.Supports various Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) tasks. Required qualifications to be successful in this role Minimum education and years of experience:Associate's degree in Computer Science, Education, or related area.Four (4) years related experience.Certifications:Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01 M Level II certification within six months of hiring.Minimum qualifications:Familiarity with ActionScript3 in order to support the majority of the required programming.Ability to gain familiarity with Joint Knowledge On-line program.Ability to gain familiarity with Lectora and CourseMill Learning Management Systems by Trivantis.Ability to gain familiarity with guidelines published in Military Handbook (MIL-HDBK) 29612 series.Expert working proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office suite products.Active Secret clearance is required.Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
