Our Crane Operator job will provide you with the opportunity to work on Large Design/Build Transportation project. Each day you will operate Cranes. You should be self motivated. Our Crane Equipment Operators:Observe work site and equipment to detect and protect against unsafe or hazardous operating conditionsPerform preventive maintenance and minor repairs to motorized vehicles and equipment operatedAssist and participate in major repair work and related maintenance activities, as assignedOperated equipment over rough, rocky, steep surfaces; mountainous terrain etcAdditional Operator - Equipment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Possess knowledge of the functional operation, purpose, capabilities and limitations of and the proper manner in which to operate and maintain all specific pieces of equipment they are qualified to operate; be able to read instrumentation gages, understand the results and what each gauge signifies and demonstrate the safe accessories within the range of each piece of equipment operatedAbility to read, interpret or use capacity charts, rigging diagrams, common hand signals, grade stakes or other applicable drawingsKnowledge of computerized components in various kinds of machinery disabilitiesBasic QualificationsFour (4) years experience in operating CranesWhat you will findAt CH2M HILL, the greatest challenges provide the biggest rewards.
