Credentialing Specialist

Adecco currently has an excellent opportunity with a leading RI Health Insurance Provider for a Credentialing Specialist. The Credentialing Specialist coordinates and administers credentialing for medical practitioners, ensuring that all credentialing and accreditation procedures are processed and completed in accordance with established regulatory, quality and policy requirements.


Duties and Responsibilities:
.Associate's degree in related field, or sufficient work experience to equate to degree
.Minimum 2 years credentialing experience, quality or provider operations
.Able to independently manage multiple tasks at any given time
.Good oral communication skills in order to communicate in person or telephonically with applicants, providers, or others, who may pose challenging questions
.Ability to work collaboratively with peers to support a team environment
.Ability to understand, interpret and apply regulatory guidelines and company policies and procedures to credential practitioners
