Review and process customer credit applications
Evaluate customer credit limits in accordance with the RBDC Credit Policies
Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit
Minimize bad debt risk and maximize accounts receivable collections
Make credit recommendations based on customer financial reports, payment history and purchase activity.
Assist setting up new customer accounts in accordance with company policies
Maintain existing customer information in database
Monitor customers accounts for payments and credit needs
Support the organization during new launches
Customer Service Support
Effectively communicate with customers regarding account questions
Answer incoming calls from the field about customer accounts
Follow up with customers about the status of account
Resolve issues with customer accounts by being proactive to find solutions
Work with department supervisor to measure efficiency and effectiveness of reporting processes
Create effective and accurate reports for customers with credit terms and payment history
Assist in developing credit vetting KPI's
Perform ad hoc reporting as needed
YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
(PROVEN PERFORMANCE IN)
* 3+ years experience in processing credit applications, maintaining customer database data, customer service, and data entry. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Must be well organized and able to manage significant amounts of data. * Experience of independently managing projects and delivering results on-time, accurately and successfully. * Strong communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of management and persuasively present financial issues. * Strong analytical skills and adept at identifying trends and variances. Strong interpersonal and customer services skills are a must in this role.
Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
