JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Financial Analysis Manager will be lead on analyzing key customer financials and business plans for purposes of qualifying new customers for credit and monitoring and establishing credit limits for existing customers. The Manager will be assigned a portfolio but will also be responsible to supervise a junior analyst. Critical skill sets include the ability to analyze customer financials including capital structures, interact and negotiate with senior customer executives, interact with sales and operations internally and to present recommendations to company senior executives. The Manager will support projects to enhance the credit system and management of the portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a world-class Corporate Treasury team for a $6B public company. You will be engaging with CXO level at customers analyzing their financial statements and business plans. The position has high visibility throughout the organization and is an entry into other areas of Treasury and the Finance organization at Sanmina.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT MAY NOT BE LIMITED TO:
*Managing credit for an assigned portfolio
*Supervision of a junior analyst
*Using sound judgment and experience to qualify new and existing customers for credit based on analysis of customer financials and business plans and other qualitative factors
*Establishing credit limits and taking proactive steps to mitigate risk and manage exposure to these limits
*Interacting and negotiating with senior customer executives and sales and operations internally to drive credit issues
*Reporting on credit risk to the Director of Global Credit and senior management in a timely manner
*Participating in and leading departmental projects as necessary
*Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. MBA is a plus
*Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience preferred
*Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
*Experience in Oracle a strong plus
*Excellent written and verbal business communication skills
