Facility: Oakwood Hospital & Medical Center at Dearborn
Department: Critical Care Transport Team
Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager, receives emergent and non-emergency calls via phone and radio to route transport request to appropriate location or vehicle. Coordinates all critical care transports to assure timely response. Relays pertinent patient information regarding medical condition to hospital and transport personnel. Records all statistical information for monthly management and quality reports.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Minimum Basic EMT licensure in State of Michigan.
Experience: Minimum 1-year road or emergency room experience. Previous EMS dispatch experience preferred.
Skills: Excellent verbal communication and customer service. Proficient with basic computer skills. Regular/Full time Midnight
