JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition Type: Full Time
Key contributor responsible for the design, development and evaluation of Spectrum Enterprise sales, customer service, technical, marketing, and leadership training programs needed to achieve Spectrum Enterprise goals and objectives. Provides enhancements to existing materials by teaming with in-house subject matter experts to design, develop, and evaluate the Spectrum Enterprise curriculum. Develops training programs using different delivery platforms to include but not limited to instructor led classroom, virtual instructor led, eLearning, self-paced web based training, and performance support tools
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Collaborates with Leadership team and business subject matter experts to design and deliver engaging learning to enhance performance and productivity.
Incorporates adult learning principles, instructional design technologies and assessment techniques in curriculum design and facilitation.
Analyzes, designs, develops, implements and evaluates the effectiveness of sales, customer service, technical, marketing and leadership training; serves as creative and planning resource to internal customers.
Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
Acts as curriculum design subject matter expert
Serves as project lead for each assigned design and development project; participates in the delivery and facilitation to prepare others in train-the-trainer delivery for each assigned design and development project.
Anticipates client needs by managing complex client relationships, promoting a high-impact service culture by consulting and involving all key stakeholders.
Sets clear goals for each project and pursues them with enthusiasm and energy.
Creates project plans and provides accurate risk assessments for all projects; meets deadlines and reprioritizes as needed to complete timely delivery of instructional design projects; anticipates obstacles for each project and prepares with contingency plans.
Demonstrates expert knowledge of assigned projects as well as development processes and standards.
Maintains current knowledge of latest industry tools and processes.
Ensures training is innovative, engaging, and on the cutting edge of training technology to increase customer satisfaction and generate revenue.
Contributes to improve team processes and standards; performs other duties as requested by supervisor.
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to use personal computer and software applications specific to instructional design

BA/BS in Instructional Design, Human Resource Development or related field required, specialized training in instructional design methodologies required, specialized training in instructional design methodologies required
