JOB DESCRIPTIONThe XIFIN health economics optimization platform enables end-to-end connectivity, collaboration, and continuity of care across the entire diagnostic lifecycle from patient to payment. We are seeking a skilled professional Customer Account Manager with a solid understanding of the medical billing, reimbursement and collections process. Your knowledge of RCM and talented problem-solving, will build great relationships with XIFIN specialty laboratory customers.
To be successful in this role, you must have analytical and creative skills, multi-tasking ability and the ability to problem solve effectively and promptly. In addition, you must be self motivated, a self-starter, and possess that "can do" attitude.
As part of your extended team, you will lead a dedicated staff of medical billers/collectors servicing our fast growing list of outsourced RCM customers. These include molecular diagnostics laboratories and other specialty laboratories located throughout the US.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer liaison and project manager of outsourced billing for specialty medical laboratories located throughout the US.
Manage assigned accounts to ensure timely response and appropriate actions are taken to enhance the customer business results.
Supervise and direct Billing & Collections staff and their processes that directly and positively impact your assigned customers Accounts Receivable and financial performance.
Analyze and review customer financial packages and AR metrics.
Coordinate financial reports that highlight key metrics for client profitability/billing status.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
At least five years' experience in medical billing and reimbursement, together with strong workflow management and people-relation skills.
Extensive "hands-on" experience with medical billing software, preferable in a cloud environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of ABN, Appeals, EOBs, CPT and ICD-10 coding.
Strong customer service and account management experience.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced & high growth environment.
Medical AR management experience, with demonstrated results in government and 3rd party collections.
BA/BS in business or healthcare.
Our preference is for solid laboratory or extensive related healthcare industry experience!
