JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Call Center Rep/Member Services Rep, will work specifically with our client?s members within the Member Resource Center department.
In this role, you will work in a call center environment to provide services to members. In this position you will work closely with union officers, management staff, and staff of other departments and partner organizations, to communicate about union programs, issues, and to provide assistance with health care benefits and state-mandated training and workforce development opportunities.
Answer and document all calls using client computer systems
Reply to emails
Assist workers with completing membership card signing
Answer questions on employment benefits
Healthcare benefits enrollment support
Assistance in training course registration and course completion FAQ?s
Staff training assistance
Participation in union activities such as voter registration, get-out-the-vote, etc.
Excellent computer skills and research skills, knowledge of MS Windows, Excel and Word
Excellent verbal, written communication and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written skills, including ability to compose reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various groups
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast paced environment
