Job Description

1. Manages customer project delivery - Revenue as detailed in Impact section - Very large/ complex/ multiple regions or global - High/ very high risk - High/very high complexity legal and commercial issues 2. Manages project financials including PandL - Meets or exceeds Solution Opportunity Approval Review (SOAR) approved budgets - Provides reliable financial forecasts to 1. Manages project financials including PandL - Meets or exceeds Solution Opportunity Approval and Review (SOAR) approved budgets - Provides reliable financial forecasts to HP Services (HPS) management 3. Manages business development - Identifies and develops new opportunities on current project - Supports qualification and opportunity assessment for large and moderately complex opportunities - Acts as opportunity manager for medium to high risk deals 4. Manages client relationships - Manages mid to upper level client delivery relationships - Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients 5. Manages project team - Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size less than 20 people - Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members - Provides performance review input and indication of area of development for team members Delivery or opportunity management with visible impact on HP Services revenue normally less than $3M or transition/ transformation for a $50-100M (Gold level) deal. management 3. Manages business development - Identifies and develops new opportunities with client - Supports early qualification and opportunity assessment for large and complex opportunities - Acts as opportunity manager for high risk deals 4. Manages client relationships - Manages complex multifunction and/ or global delivery relationships with senior and executive ('C' level) client management - Communicates the direct value our capabilities will provide to our business partners and customers 5. Manages project team - Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size greater than 40 people - Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members through others - Provides detail performance review input and development recommendations for key contributors - Mentors others, providing a role model and support for individual development Delivery or opportunity management with major impact on HP Services revenue approximately $8M-30M or transition/transformation for a $100M-500M (Platinum level) Impact is evidenced by multiple contributions over time and performance demonstrates sustained level of contribution. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: DoD Secret at a minimumEducation and Experience Required: First level university degree, Advanced degree preferred; 10 years experience in project management or in like roles/businesses Knowledge and Skills Required: Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of key HP Services' operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management. Has an extensive understanding of critical project management techniques Recognized as a leader in the HP S Program Manager (PM) Professions community Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified The following experience is highly desirable for the Task Order Program Manager:- IA DoD 8570 Certification (IAT, IAM, CND-IR)- Current Security Clearance level of Secret- Demonstrated excellence in planning, directing, and managing complex ITprojects/operations of a nature similar in size and scope as referenced under this TaskOrder.- Working knowledge and experience administering and managing multiple IT tasks andsubstantial IT projects similar in size and scope.- Successful management and supervision of employees of various labor categories andskills in projects similar in size and scope as referenced under this Task Order.- Technical and administrative leadership of task compliance with industry acceptedstandards, FTS standards and user standards.- Knowledge of FAR regulations and requirements. andnb...
