Customer Service Agent I - Kohler, WI

Opportunity

As a Customer Service Agent, this is your unique opportunity to set your mark and live on the leading-edge. This position provides world class customer service across Kohler, Sterling and Robern brands to internal and external customers. It serves as the main point of contact for domestic & international wholesale, as well as retail customers. The CSA adheres to policies and procedures for order processing and management within defined time frames. This position provides a gracious brand ambassador customer service experience in accordance with all Kohler Co. brand protocols while maintaining a positive, problem-solving approach.



HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:



1 Receives, prioritizes and responds to in-bound customer inquiries via phone, email and fax.

2 Responsible for entering customer orders with defined policies and procedures.

3 Responsible for processing order changes and order cancellations within defined policies and procedures.

4 Responsible for clearing order logs, specifically pricing and quote related issues within defined policies and procedures, within defined time frames.

5 Understands basic Customer Service processes and basic order fulfillment and physical distribution network principles.

6 Maintains basic product knowledge required to support order entry/management

7 Processes transactions for Reverse Logistics Programs (RGA).

8 Understands self-service tools, effective at handling basic customer inquiries.

9 Supports Top Shop Program (Credit Card Transactions).

10 Processes Claims within defined time frames.

11 Special Project Support - Periodic involvement as required by Supervisor / Team Leader. Focus areas include process improvement, cost reduction, and service improvement initiatives.





Skills/Requirements





* High school diploma or GED required, 2-4 year degree preferred.

* A minimum of two years total work experience is desired - preferably in a customer service environment but not required.

* Basic Microsoft office functionality required to be successful in this position.

* Completion of internal Brand Ambassador Program required within first 12 months of employment.
