Job Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Call Center Agent, you will conduct both inbound and outbound calls while educating customers about available service improvements.
Your specific duties as a Customer Service Call Center Agent will include:
-Speaking with customers on the phone using a headset
-Reading scripted information and disclosures from the computer screen to customers
-Answering customer questions regarding their account
-Selling service upgrades to customers over the phone (includes renewing contracts as well as� upgrading call plans and/or phones)
-Entering call data into computer and updating customer account during call
-Recording the results of each phone call after call is completed
-Occasionally transferring calls to the appropriate supervisor

Job Requirements
As a Customer Service Call Center Agent, you must be confident, assertive and convey a personal belief in the products and services you market. The role of Customer Service Call Center Agent will require patience and the ability to deal with irate customers without becoming overwhelmed or frustrated. � You must also be team-oriented with a strong work ethic and a high level of personal integrity.
Specific qualifications for the Customer Service Call Center Agent include:
-6 months general employment experience ��" 1 year of sales, call-center or customer service experience is preferred
-Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
-Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening and empathy
-Intermediate computer proficiency� - keyboard, mouse, copy-and-paste, typing and navigating between multiple windows
-Solid organizational skills
-Flexibility with regard to work schedule
