The Expeditor & Coordinator position will assist in the order management process by ensuring that all sales orders, due for delivery, are captured, complete and ready to ship. This position will actively manage due dates to ensure on-time-deliveries by coordinating activities between Customer Service and Supply Chain.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage Expedite process in SFDC
* Attend Production Meetings, advise CSR of any product issues
* Monitor open orders and backorder report,, and advise CSR of any late shipment.
* Work with sales to achieve accurate quotation lead-times on large projects
* Proactively looking for overall order issues by reviewing various hold reports
* Create Deliveries as needed.
Bachelors degree preferred
3-5 years related experience or a minimum of 10 years related experience with a high school diploma. The successful candidate must be able to expedite and facilitate the flow of material to the various departments to ensure deliveries are met. The candidate must be highly organized and be able maintain reports and activity on expedited orders. The candidate must be able to interact with others while communicating effectively and clearly with strong written and verbal communication skills. The individual must have computer experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Tyco products and experience in the creation of domestic and international customer orders (in SAP preferably) is helpful. The ability to multi-task is essential.
