Job Description
Responsible for answering and responding to inbound telephone inquiries and promoting Knology’s products and services. Will answer questions from customers regarding billing and service issues while maintaining acceptable statistical Call Center standards. Provide customer education and light troubleshooting for efficient, professional, and courteous resolution focusing on customer satisfaction and retention.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer incoming calls and respond to customer requests.
Identify, research, and resolve customer issues using the computer system.
Provide customer with product and service information. If needed, transfer customer calls to appropriate staff.
Follow up on customer inquiries.
Research billing issues and misapplied payments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED required. Good oral communications skills, including active listening skills, and telephone etiquette are required. Good basic math skills are needed. Must have the ability to read and understand billing statement information. Must be able to function effectively on a consistent basis in fast-paced environment and high-tension situations. Must be able to report to work on time and be able to work as scheduled on a consistent basis. Previous customer service experience is desired. Call Center experience would be a plus.
