JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Serves as the liaison between the Customers, Production, and Procurement departments.
Maintain and monitor backlog for accurate delivery and pricing information
Expedite future orders per customer requests by analyzing system data and current order dates
Make decisions on schedule changes based on customer open order reports using production capacity information, obtain supply chain approval as required
Identify and resolve customer concerns
Process orders, prepares correspondence, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction
Able to quote new parts and ensure the profitability of existing prices
Keep customers updated with any past due items and provides details
Ensure the appropriate fees for schedule changes are applied to customer requests, then approved, before adding the changes to our system
Enter Expedite fee POs into ERP system and invoice fees accordingly
Communicate with production managers and supervisors to provide the best possible solutions, dates, and schedules to the customer
Upload customer forecast/demand every Friday into ERP system
Maintain customer reworks, credits, and RTV issues
Communicate with NMG finance department to accurately maintain invoice complications with accounts payable, credits, reworks, debits, etc.
Daily work will revolve around meeting our company goals for the year.
Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, companywide.
Other duties, reporting, special assignments or projects as needed and assigned.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required, 2 or 4 year college degree preferred
Goal-oriented team player able to work with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with customers and people at all levels of the organization
Able to work under time sensitive deadlines
Proficiency in the use of computer programs (including Excel) to perform analysis, research, and correspondence
Proficient working with ERP (i.e. E-10) operating systems
Must be willing to submit to and satisfactorily pass any pre-employment screening required for employment with NMG Aerospace (i.e. drug screen, background check, eye exam, hearing exam, etc.) and any subsequent testing required for the position during employment.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 percent of the time.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office or shop floor to access work supplies, tools, machinery, etc.
