JOB DESCRIPTION

This Customer Service Rep Position Features:
provides specific support to the branch operations and its management; obtains loan applications for existing and potential customers.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
?Greets existing and potential customers face-to-face and via telephone in a professional manner.
?Processes credit loan applications, completes loan documents.
?Solicits loans over the telephone in addition to customer interaction at the counter.
?Conducts collection calls and prepares an activity report for submittal to the Branch Manager.
?Contacts customers with past due accounts via telephone.
?Completes daily and monthly closeout procedures.
?Provides customer credit experience to inquiring creditors and credit bureaus.
?Accepts and posts customers? payments received at counter and via mail.
?Prepares for daily bank deposits.
?Maintains correct amounts and denominations of money in cash drawer, balances cash drawer and maintains the Cash Count Record daily.
?Opens and distributes mail.
?Closes current renewal loans, assists in mailing renewal material to customers, and assists in mailing collection material to customers with past due accounts.
?Performs other activities that support the Branch operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
?High School Degree
?Customer service and/or office administration experience preferred, but not required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
?Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
?Ability to quickly learn processes, finance terms and branch operation procedures.
?Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
?Ability to multitask, effectively manage time and meet daily, monthly and quarterly deadlines.
?Ability to interact with employees/liaisons from Corporate Office.
?Computer proficiency; specifically Microsoft Office software.
?Must have a valid driver?s license and current auto insurance.

SCHEDULE:This position is full-time, typical hours are 8:30am-5:30pm. Periodic overtime may be required.
