span Customer Service Representative br   br A permanent Customer Service Representative in Charlotte, NC is being recruited by Ajilon Professional Staffing. You may have the experience that our client is looking for if you possess 1-2 years of customer service/ sales experience within a manufacturing or distribution company. The Customer Service Representative is expected to up-sell and offer services when available to grow the customer relationship and assist with increasing sales for the company.   br   br Customer Service Job Responsibilities: br   br •       Guide customers when placing orders, including “up-selling” products or offering br            product substitutions for back-ordered merchandise br •        Receive incoming customer calls and assist customers in placing orders through ERP br            system br • Enter and modify on-line orders br •        Write orders for non-stock merchandise and process accordingly br • Follow through and respond to customer price requests and other information br            pertaining to both stock and non-stock merchandise br • Expedite orders as necessary and when appropriate br • Maintain product information files br • Email or fax information to customer as required br • Assist with new employee training while taking in-bound calls br • Utilization of critical thinking skills to record and resolve customer problems br • Participate in phone blitz sales days in alignment with company sales goals br • Make out-bound phone calls to new and existing customers to identify opportunities br             and increase sales br • Other duties as assigned br   br Customer Service Job Qualifications: br • 1-2 years of customer service/sales experience br • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree br             preferred.    br • Strong written and oral English skills br • Ability to provide superior customer service per company standards br • Will be making 50-80 outbound calls per day br • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook br • Ability to learn and operate company systems, applications, and work procedures. br • Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, which includes br             active listening and speaking br • Ability to learn company products and their uses br • Organized with strong attention to detail, Able to multi-task br • Ability to handle heavy call volume and data entry br   br Are you interested in the Customer Service job in Charlotte, NC?
