JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for an outstanding, top-notch candidate who goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service to all customers. This top-notch candidate will represent the company as the direct contact to consumers regarding their product orders, prices and availability.
Main responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Demonstrate passion, active listening and empathy in all interactions to achieve the company's objective: to be the customer's favorite story
- Respond to customer's request via phone, web, ecommerce, live support chat, email and fax for information on quotes, orders, cancellations, expedites, debit/credit, proof-of-delivery, usage or other system queries following company procedures
- Be proactive in confirming our ability to meet customer requirements for open transactions
- Knowledgeable of our processes and capable of following standard work procedures
- Identify and participate in continual process improvement
- Achieve quality objectives
- Educate yourself in a self-study program consisting of a minimum of two hours a week
- Customer Service or related experience
- Experience in a technical industry or distributorship a plus
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to multi-task
- Action oriented personality
