Position Summary Primary responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include answering inbound phone calls, replying to emails, assisting customers and outside sales representatives, processing orders, problem solving and computer data entry. This position serves as the first point of contact for internal and external customers. Essential Functions Answer phone calls Enter customer orders into SAP Assist walk-in customers with questions, handle payments Assist Account Managers with customer inquiries and quotes Assist customers with price quotes, questions and problems Review open orders Reply to emails Qualifications Ability to reconcile and audit work Strong written and verbal communication Detail oriented Ability to set priorities and work independently Ability to multi-task Demonstrate excellent professional, organizational, and communication skills Proven ability to work in a very fast paced work environment and able to work independently and with little direction Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Prior customer service experience preferred SAP experience preferred Janitorial supply experience preferred Physical Demands The Customer Service Representative's physical job demands include maximum occasional lift of 45 lbs from floor to 33 inches; maximum occasional carry of 45 lbs for 200 ft; maximum occasional horizontal push/pull force of 5 lbs; frequent forward reach of 30 inches; occasional lateral reach of 12 inches; occasional reach overhead of 75 inches; occasional bend; constant neck flexion; constant fine motor coordination; constant sitting; occasional standing; and occasional walking.
