JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Our Minneapolis client is seeking a Customer Service Representative which is the entry level to our Customer Service department. Skills include learning the client systems and processes, basic customer service skills, communication skills, demonstration of an excellent work ethic, desire to grow with the team and the ability to follow direction. Excelling in this position will allow for upward mobility within the department. As a Customer Service Representative you will be part of a dedicated and professional team whose requirements include handling communications from our customers, representatives and field sales personnel. The primary responsibilities consist of processing customer purchase orders and responding to various customer inquiries.
Act as primary liaison between customer and company
Process electronic and telephonic customer inquiries and orders
Resolve electronic and telephonic order problems with customers regarding pricing, availability, terms, delivery, etc.
Display a cheerful attitude and demeanor at all times
Screen Technical Assistance calls and route appropriately
Maintain address changes to the ship to customer master file
Update changes to orders based on requested delivery & product availability
Work with operations, technical support, and logistics to ensure timely and accurate shipment of product
Achieve fundamental knowledge of product offering
Issue return goods authorization for return of merchandise
Answer and respond to all customer, distributor, and Regional Manager's inquiries
Other related duties as assigned
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
Must possess superior communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and the ability to work in a team or independently as needed
Ability to manage time and complete tasks
Ability to use standard operating procedures and independent judgment in the customer service department
Candidate must be detail oriented, self-starter, proactive and willing to do what it takes to get the job done
Possess excellent vocabulary and data entry skills
Proficient in the use of office equipment, such as computers, copiers, scanners and fax machines
High school diploma or GED- Associates Degree Preferred
Exceptional Customer Focus
2 – 3 years of experience in a customer service call center environment
Strong problem-solving, decision making and follow-up skills
