Immediate need for patient services representative - $33k/yr, seeking full time medical customer service position.
Summary: This position directly interacts with a variety of customers daily. Processes health care authorizations approved by the VA, places outbound calls and receives calls to schedule Veterans' appointments. Ensures accurate data entry and completion of authorization data from referral/authorization forms, medical documentation, existing data contained in the medical management system and customer information. Provides back-up by phone to facilitate patient transfers as required by VA. Works in multi-tasking and fast paced production environment.
HS Diploma or GED,
1+ years experience working in an inbound and outbound call center and/or medical environment
Proficient in MS Outlook and great computer skills
