Job Description
Cyber Operations Analyst
Stanley Associates (wholly owned subsidiary of CGI Federal) is seeking a Cyber Operations Analyst to work in our San Diego, CA location. The successful candidate will perform tasks related to Cyber Forensics for a government customer.
Specific Duties:
Vulnerability discoveries, software development, debugging code, reverse engineering, and network modeling and simulation.
Generate reports and briefs. Conduct briefs.
Requirements
PhD and 8 years of experience; or Masters and 12 years of experience; or Bachelors and 16 years of experience. Degree shall be in Electrical Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded System Development, or closely related field.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
Possession of an ACTIVE TS/SCI security clearance is required to begin employment; US Citizenship is required.
Lower level hardware knowledge down to the register and bit level (i.e. firmware/hardware) is essential.
Mastery of debugging code and understanding code at the assembly level.
Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and Python; and different Operating Systems and environments such as Windows, UNIX, and Linux.
Understand computer networking including communications protocols, protocol design and analysis software and network topology.
Familiar with computer architectures and operating systems to include different types of computer platforms (i.e. Unix/Linux/Windows).
Familiar with concepts associated with middleware to includes virtualization; cloud computing, web services, database applications and services; and data mining tools.
Professional oral and written presentation skills. Excellent listening and verbal communication skills in person and on the telephone.
Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
Preferred
Navy tours at a numbered fleet and NIOC
Affiliation with the IEEE, ACM or other standards organizations is of value
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Qualified Navy Certification Agent / Navy Validator.
