JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY: This employee will be tasked with growing Protection 1 s customer base by selling industry leading cybersecurity solutions and managed service plans to small businesses in professional services industries. This is accomplished through self-generation activities, participating in company sponsored community events and activities designed to generate customer awareness and interest. Soliciting referrals from existing and new customers, building robust affiliate marketing and referral teams, leveraging social media, working directly with organizations and basic networking within an assigned territory to generate new business is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. To perform this job successfully, the Cyber Security Sales Consultant may be expected to perform some or all of the duties listed and complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

* Responsible for achieving all budgeted Cyber Security sales production targets.

* Efficiently manage territory resources to maximize daily production and time in front of customers.

* Cultivate new leads through referrals, company provided leads, networking groups and cold calling.

* Further develop existing relationships with local key accounts, existing customer base, etc.

* Skilled in system design, scope of work, theory of operation and solution integration.

* Collaborate with product and manufacturing representatives and operational counterparts.

* Expert in customer relationships, conflict resolution, negotiation, and customer service.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Knowledge

* Knowledge of and a proficiency in using Computer and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), and Internet.

* Proficient in system design applications, bidding tools, customer management, Microsoft, etc.

* Must be able to drive a motor vehicle while seated for extended periods, and be able to drive at night.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.

* The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

* This job may involve working with 110-volt electricity and may involve working around 120-volt electricity.

* Must be able to drive a motor vehicle while seated for extended periods, and be able to drive at night.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* 1+ years of current cyber security expertise focused around knowledge of threats to IT infrastructure, threat analytics solutions, cyber security products, APT, and Cyber security services.

* 3+ years of current sales experience with consistent sales results to professional services industries

* Prior experience selling managed IT services is a plus

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

* Applicable state and local licenses as required.

* Must have valid driver s license issued by the state in which they reside and proper automobile registration.

* Proof of insurance for personal automobile liability with limits no lower than the financial responsibility limits required by the state where the employee resides. Failure to maintain this insurance will result in corrective actions being taken, up to and including termination.

* Ability to successfully pass a full drug screen and background check

* IT Security Certifications are not required, but preferred
