Job Description

The QES Group is dedicated to empowering cyber analysts by providing analytics and the supporting platforms that create knowledge from all sources of information. The successful candidate will lead efforts to design, develop and deploy effective cyber situational awareness capabilities on operational information technology enterprises. Provide thought leadership and technical expertise in the advancement and application of mission-based cyber situational awareness capabilities to sponsor enterprises. Lead multiple, simultaneous development projects that measurably improve cyber security through the real-time application of enrichment, analytics, and visualization. Develop new business and form strategic alliances with key sponsors in the Defense, Intelligence, and Government communities. Provide technical leadership in helping the group and department build a coherent vision and supporting strategies, and executing them to deliver critical contributions.
Required: M.S. or Ph.D in a technical area related to cyber situational awareness, including mathematics, computer science, information science or equivalent. At least five years experience in developing cyber situational awareness capabilities with demonstrable contributions. Knowledge and experience with enterprise architecture development and software engineering, and with intelligence and cyber analytics and visualization, with a strong desire to transition innovative knowledge solutions to the DoD and the Intelligence Community. Excellent speaking and writing skills, and experience in effectively communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.

Desired: Previous experience working with Intelligence Community Sponsors. Experience in supporting strategic planning, successful proposal or grant writing, and project execution. Previous success in creatively addressing hard, real-world, large-data problems and delivering results. Demonstrated thought leadership and peer recognition.
