Our 3D Printing division, located in North Carolina s Research Triangle Park makes custom prototype and production parts for companies worldwide using Rapid Prototyping, Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing technologies. Position Overview:
Proto Labs vision is To deliver real parts really fast. We are looking to add to the level of excellence that our customers expect by growing our Customer Service Team. We seek a team member dedicated to providing top notch service to our growing customer base, and to our internal customers. Our Customer Service Department is not the typical call-center environment. Our CSR s are trained and empowered to assist customers over the phone while simultaneously completing their daily tasks that support all departments within our company.

Specific duties include:

* Prioritize and delegate incoming requests to minimize response times to customers.

* Verify payment and shipping information from customer purchase orders and emails, prior to order.

* Receive, verify and enter payment information for customer orders.

* Serve as liaison between departments to insure customer issues are communicated and handled appropriately

* Update customer database and resolve issues regarding contact and customer alignment. This is coordinated with the Customer Service Coordinator.

* Respond to incoming customer inquiries as needed to facilitate quoting and order processing functions

* Handle customer correspondence via phone and email and work with customers to resolve customer concerns.

* Maintain departmental service level response times

* Answer incoming calls and assist with email triage and distribution.

* Entering orders and understand all aspects of all order processes.

* Other tasks as assigned



Minimum Qualifications:

* College degree preferred with related work experience

* Recommended 1-2 years Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

* Mathematical proficiency and Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

* Must have a pleasant telephone voice, demonstrated comprehension skills and ability to speak clearly.

* Familiarity with on-line data operations and ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously.

* Strong sense of urgency and handling and setting priorities

* Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm.

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize work

* Strong sense of urgency and ability to be highly responsive

* Experience working in a fast paced environment

* Demonstrated strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and find resolution

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Self-motivated, positive attitude and able to work independently or in a team environment
