JOB DESCRIPTIONGibson Brands, Inc. (f/k/a Gibson Guitar Corp), the world's premier manufacturer of musical instruments and professional audio equipment, is seeking a full-time Digital Audio Workstation Support Representative. The position is responsible for supporting DAW users by phone and email.
The DAW Support Rep will deliver high quality DAW technical support to Cakewalk customers, troubleshooting via email and telephone within our Cakewalk division. The ideal candidate is organized, responsible, and has excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should have an upbeat and engaging phone manner. Troubleshootingexperience with music software or in a music production environment is required. We are a small an energetic team that works closely together to develop ideas and then execute them. Resolving DAW support issues in a friendly, efficient and timely manner, escalating issues when appropriate.
* Isolating and solving problems using standard troubleshooting techniques
Become an expert with Cakewalk software products
* Entering and tracking customer reported issues.
Familiarity with DAW software or music production environments.
Expertise with both MIDI and digital audio
Ability to communicate effectively and possessing an enthusiasm for helping customers
Ability to troubleshoot and possess an enthusiasm for solving problems
Working knowledge of PC, MS Office applications, and the internet
Team Player, Patience, Detail Oriented, Friendly and Outgoing
