Job Description


The Development Coordinator will provide administrative and project management support to the Director of Integrated Campaign Initiatives, and work closely with the campaign team in a dynamic development office at one of the nations foremost reaching and research hospitals.


Provide administrative and project management support for up to three members of the Campaign team. Track and prioritize daily tasks, team projects, and arrange travel needs
Coordinate, schedule and update intermediate level meetings/appointments for the Director of Integrated Campaign Initiatives, as well as, update Campaign calendars
Provide support for the successful execution of meetings and events with high-level volunteer leadership groups including the Presidents Advisory Council, Campaign Cabinet, and Physician and Scientist Campaign Committee. Create internal planning timelines for activity to ensure smooth implementation and timely follow up.
Prepare memos, letters, briefings, agendas and other correspondence for a variety of meetings, includes Presidents Advisory Council, Volunteer Committees, and BWH Campaign related activities
Create, edit and proofread all PowerPoint presentations and meeting materials
Coordinate mailings to donors and volunteers including compiling mailing lists and generating mailings using mail merge
Provide assistance and support on projects, as needed, for the Office of the President at Brigham and Womens Hospital
Prepare for donor meetings and events including, but not limited to, preparing documents, compiling materials, tracking attendance, and working with events to arrange logistics
Enter confidential donor information into Raisers Edge fundraising database, track donor correspondence, proposals, generate reports, and ongoing activity
Record in RE and track important follow-up from Campaign Cabinet meetings and other donor meetings and discussions
Create and maintain detailed reporting documents and systems for tracking campaign activity
Drive agendas for weekly campaign meetings, proactively collecting items for discussion and conducting follow up
Book travel arrangements and prepare briefings outlining development related travel activity
Staff events as requested.
Perform the hospital run for the Development Office on a regularly scheduled basis
Perform other related duties as assigned

No Direct Patient Care required.


High level of computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as, internet use and other digital media. At ease with technology and with database management

Professional office environment, located off campus.


BA/BS Degree required, with 2 3 years of development or other office/administrative experience, preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong proofreading ability
Ability to manage and coordinate a dynamic department schedule that includes internal and external participants, multiple locations, and a variety of electronic components (conference line, webinar, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work autonomously under pressure of numerous and sequential deadlines.
Flexibility in work style, ability to multi-task, and ability to change course unexpectedly to address emerging high priority initiatives.
