To coordinate and deliver medical nutrition therapy and educational services in a patient. Work directly with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals.
3-5 years bariatric patient care experience Be very familiar with bariatric surgery procedures and the dietary and nutritional requirements to match Be clinically saavy about bariatric surgery patient care Be very familiar with the needs of patients pre and post operatively Be committed to long term patient follow up and guidance
EDUCATION: B.S. from an ADA approved program.
EXPERIENCE: RD credentialed or RD eligible required. Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
HOURS: As needed Mon-Fri.
