DIRECTOR, PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY SERVICES

Christiana Care is currently seeking a Director, Psychiatric Emergency Services to develop, implement, and support the delivery of comprehensive, high quality, and timely psychiatric care to patients requiring emergency intervention. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care and medical leadership which addresses the medical, psychological, and social needs of patients presenting to an emergency service; and working with hospital and community resources to identify and utilize appropriate after care services. M.D. or D.O. eligible for licensure in Delaware required along with Board certification in Psychiatry. Candidates must have experience in clinical management and supervision of staff in an inpatient or outpatient setting, with experience in developing clinical programs for mental illness.
