Objective: This position is a client facing role working closely with customers to understand, define, and produce reporting requirements including prototypes. Once requirements are defined and approved, the position is responsible for analyzing data and developing analytic reporting/data submission solutions. These solutions are utilized for in-depth evaluation and support of business decisions and processes.
Specifically, this position is responsible for performing Data Investigation and Extraction using advanced SQL through a variety of reporting tools, including raw SQL Queries, MS Reporting Services and live reporting tools such as Reporting Workbench. In addition, will investigate complex table structures to identify data relationships and the location of required data, and validate accuracy of the results. Will utilize Advanced Analytics and Technologies transforming raw data into information with appropriate business context and opportunities. This includes advanced ETL, data modeling, and planning for effective information delivery methods including ad-hoc, standard reports, dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations. Will also enhance existing reports, build additional reports, and engage in data validation and error management practices.
This position is also responsible for planning, installation, setup, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of servers that make up the data warehouse and other RDBMS Systems as assigned. Must ensure that information is available as needed in a timely fashion and is accurate, valid and reliable. Responsible for maintaining security of all RDBMS and minimizing chance of possible data loss. Develop SQL stored procedures, scripts and other administration utilities and install SQL Server upgrades and patches when necessary.
This position will directly support, in conjuction with our build teams, AAHS meeting CMS Meaningful Use and Core Measures hospital requirements along with other reporting tasks.
Requirements: 4-year degree in Business Management or Information Systems or equivalent in work experience. Must have 3+ years in database management, development, design and report development. Must be familiar with T-SQL and SSMS. Prefer health care experience (Epic, Meditech, etc ). Prefer experience with SSAS,SSIS and SSRS. Expertise, knowledge and experience related to Meaningful Use and Core Measure requirements is preferred. Regular Full-time Days
