JOB DESCRIPTIONWell-Known and Growing company look to hire a Data Entry Clerk
Performs data entry (average: 6,000 plus keystrokes per hour). Performs basic management of electronic files (i.e., print, copy, transfer and delete).
Preparing management reports, maintaining files, answering calls, and other related clerical and administrative support functions. Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors. Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered. Maintain electronic and hard copy files, storing documents in appropriate location.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have intermediate proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Must be proficient in operating standard office equipment. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide (basic math skills). Ability to research, read, and understand management and operational reports. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent time management skills.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of clerical/data entry experience. High school diploma or GED required. Strong telephone etiquette, communications and organizational skills. Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills. Must have strong administrative support experience and excellent communication skills. Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
