ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
CuraScript, a wholly owned subsidiary of Express Scripts, is a leading national provider of specialty pharmacy services. CuraScript offers a broad range of healthcare products and services for individuals with chronic health conditions, such as growth hormone deficiencies, hepatitis C, hemophilia, HIV/AIDS, oncology, multiple sclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. CuraScript provides comprehensive patient management services including clinical case management programs, counseling, education, outcomes measurement, social services, and reimbursement services. CuraScript Wholesale Services provides customized supply chain solutions for the biotech industry.
Responsible for accurately imaging of all newly received documents via our numerous fax servers, provides consistent TAT to ensure that all performance guarantees and contractual agreements are met. Inputs all new patient demographics and third party insurance info, responsible for initial visual inspection of all documents, scanning of all verbal documents received, accurately image and work all images designated in all Core Imaging folders. Responsible for sorting and scanning of all related mail. Works the images in the imaging folders within established turnaround times. Assign appropriate business drivers to referrals to ensure they are expedited to the appropriate teams. Creates orders/referrals for new/existing patients when a new image has been received. Pulls images received into fax server onto patients accounts and tags them appropriately so coordinators can determine what information has been received. Sorts and scans all related mail and acts on appropriately. Other duties as assigned Responsible for good housekeeping techniques, adhering to quality and production standards while complying with all applicable company, state and federal safety and environmental programs and procedure.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Thorough understanding of the business drivers; Payors/Pharmas that we work with. Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred. Knowledge of clinical documents / third party documents preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate good analytical, attention to detail, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills Ability to be multi-tasked and is detail oriented.
