* The Northrop Grumman Corporation is seeking a Data/Information Analyst & Solution Developer for it's Irving, TX or McLean, VA office\.As a member of the Enterprise Services \(ES\) Service Center Operations \(SCO\)/Workforce Operations \(WFO\) team, general responsibility will be to manage and support new and existing systems, tools and business processes for Service Center Operations and Human Resources\. The individual is responsible for complex data extractions, data manipulation, and delivery solutions, including productivity tool development and maintenance\.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Partner with business leaders and other functional resources to stay abreast of business processes and data/information requirements+ Evaluate and leverage technologies for extracting, manipulating, analyzing and delivering data and insight in support of business decision making and problem solving+ Develop complex query / data extraction from multiple data sources in support of various business needs+ Create databases and other data tools to facilitate extraction, manipulation, display, and delivery of data and information necessary to aid in business decisions+ Support service line leaders on process improvement and service optimization efforts+ Build tools to pull structured and unstructured data together to increase productivity or help facilitate business processes+ Ensure consistency of data through consolidation and standardization of data sources+ Support benchmarking efforts and activities across multiple service areas \(IT Call Center, Multi\-Function Call Center and Financial Shared Services\)+ Participate in a wide range of HR systems and Service Center Operations change initiatives and projects, data analytics efforts, technology assessments and roadmap activities and other tasks as assignedBasic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in related field with 6 years of relevant experience; 4 years with with Master's degree+ Thorough understanding of information systems and technology+ Thorough understanding of database structures and query tools including SQL \(Intermediate level\), Microsoft Access, Microsoft Access Web Services and Microsoft SQL Server+ Proficient in scripting/automation tools including Visual Basic \(Basic\-to\-Intermediate level\), Macros, and Windows Task Scheduler+ SharePoint tools including Workflow and Infopath Form development+ Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning and mathematical skills+ Strong problem\-solving skills+ Creative and innovative thinking+ Proficient in other MS Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word\.+ Ability to work in fast\-paced environment and deliver quality analytical products under tight deadlines+ Strong organizational skills, including an ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines+ Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills+ Customer\-focused with ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels of the organizationPreferred Qualifications:
+ Knowledge and application of basic statistics and data modeling techniques and algorithms is not required but is a plus+ Ability to use reporting or business intelligence tools such as Crystal+ Experience creating and using data visualizations \(with Tableau or similar software\)+ Experience with Adobe Acrobat+ Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft HR systems+ Good presentation and facilitation skills+ Call Center Experience; Knowledge and understanding of Service Center Operations, preferably within a multi\-functional environment+ Exposure to Service/Call Center systems and tools such as:
