In this role, the selected candidate will design and development of components of data warehouse systems involving big data and cloud technologies. Work on optimizing transaction processing, reporting and analytical infrastructure. Roles and responsibilitiesThe role requires a mix of programming and database knowledgeWork on developing applications against Oracle databasesDesign and development of components of data warehouse systems involving big data and cloud technologiesWork on optimizing transaction processing, reporting and analytical infrastructureWork on designing and developing applications and solutions to reduce development and support time for the delivery teamsWork on integrating data flow and exchange between OLTP systems and backend applicationsThe role includes interacting with data architects, enterprise architects and DBAs for resolution of data and design issuesQualifications:Skills and QualificationsBachelor s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology or related fieldAt least 5years of work experience in major programming language (Java, Python etc.) with exposure to databases, database development or SQL developmentExperience working with databases, Oracleexperience is preferredExperience with version control systems - SVN, GitWorking knowledge of markup languages (XML, HTML)Familiarity with build tools Ant, Maven, GradleKnowledge of Unix scriptingWillingness to learn and pickup new technologiesAbility to work independently on requirement gathering, design and development and issue resolutionKnowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, YARN, PIG, HIVE), or cloud computing would be strongly preferredExposure to frameworks like RoR, Spring or client-side scripting (JQuery, JavaScript) would be a plusAs provided in NetSpend's Background Check policy, eligible candidates may be subject to drug, criminal history, and credit checks, which will be conducted and used in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws Travel:No
