DTI is seeking candidates for the position of Data Logistics Agent for our Atlanta Data Center. SHIFT: Weekends including Monday, with other days negotiable.This is a full-time entry level position managing the receipt and delivery of physical media and electronic information. The Data Logistics Agent is responsible for decrypting, encrypting and managing the flow of sensitive information. The Data Logistics Agent is responsible for using and maintaining computer forensics equipment. The Data Logistics Agent maintains a library-like physical storage environment for data storage devices. The Data Logistics Agent is responsible for preparing data storage devices for shipping, and is responsible for handing off these devices to approved couriers and delivery services. Roles and Responsibilities: Receive physical and electronic data transfers from clients and couriersForensically copy information to network storage locations including decryptionInteract with computer forensic equipment to ensure data integrityLabel and store devices in appropriate locationsParticipate in consultation with the Project Management team to discuss project specifications, workflow and/or issuesManage projects to meet all deadlines and/or provide updates to the Project Management teamPerform quality control on all staged dataSecurely access and utilize client provided data hosting platformsPrepare encrypted deliverables containing a mixture of file types and volumesPackage data devices for shipping via FedEx, Courier or other delivery serviceHand-deliver shipments to drop-off points, to the airport, and to local clientsPrioritize and complete assigned projects and manage team workloadProvide daily status reports to shift leads/Project ManagersProvide troubleshooting services to clientsProvide support to Operations team Additional responsibilities as assignedRequired Qualifications and Experience: Strong written and oral communication skillsAbility to work in a fast paced environment both as a team player and independentlyAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical/critical thinking and problem solvingFamiliarity with computer networking, network storage and data storage devicesHigh School DegreeFamiliarity with manipulating electronic data (metadata), image files and relevant native file types.Experience with using Microsoft Excel for formatting, creating formula’s, tools, etc).Ability to create documentation on complicated tasks to create repeatable processesMust be able to lift boxes weighing up to 40lbsMust have own transportation and be willing to make occasional deliveries within 50 miles of expense-able travel
