Adecco is currently recruiting for a Deductions Analyst in the Wilkes-Barre area

-Monday to Friday 8-4:30
-$14 hr
- temporary to perm (based on business needs)
-AR Experience, basic knowledge of deductions, good communication and customer service skills, basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Key Responsibilities
-Code, investigate, and resolve customer debit disputes.
-Develop effective relationships with Internal Customers; communicate with the client s Customers, Customer Service Personnel (all levels), CDO (Customer Development Organization/Sales) Field Sales, and HQ CDO Sales Finance personnel.
-Provide timely information and input to management on business issues and process improvements.
-Ensuring proper follow up and right mechanism is applied to keep nominal items in suspense accounts
-Ensure rigorous follow up on the accounts
-Suggest improvements in the deduction resolution process as well as understanding customer practices.
-Research and identify deduction causal factors and develop effective systems and processes that will eliminate or resolve
-Minimize Unworked and Unidentified deductions by performing transactions timely
-Assure trade and CDO adherence to the client Customer Supply Chain Policies and Procedures for deduction clearing.
-Develop a proactive approach to preventing deductions.
-Interact with Collections & Cash Application team to resolve the customer issues
-Reporting the day end postings & ensuring that daily inflow of cheques & BACS are clear
-Coordinate and resolve issues with excellent customer service with internal & external customers.
-Research and resolve issues in a manner to expedite all cases in order to avoid any adverse customer impact
-Work as a team to process any adhoc request in a timely manner.
-Deliver quality customer service by researching and responding to all internal & external stakeholder s inquiries quickly, effectively and professionally.
-Escalate problems to senior staff members and or management as appropriate.

Required Skills
-Resources from OTC domain and worked on SAP ERP- preferably Deductions Management
-Good understanding of upstream and downstream of Deduction/Exceptions
-Good communication skills (written & Oral)
-Strong analytical mindset, problem solving and organization skills
-Proficiency with System applications
-Knowledge of PC skills including Ms Office (Excel and Word)
-Strong team player

Experience / Education

-4 year college degree preferred
-2+ years experience in customer service, product supply, sales, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing or related experience is an advantage
-Experience and knowledge of the workings of a customer service environment (not a call center) is an advantage
-Functional knowledge of supply chain processes is an advantage
