SERVICE AREA OVERVIEW
Specializing in Robotic, General, Bariatric, Neuro, Orthopedic, Breast, Plastic, and Gynecologic Surgery, Northside Hospital performs more than 40,500 cases annually, which is more than any other hospital in Georgia. We offer our patients innovative technology, including: daVinci robotic surgical system, O-arm Intraoperative Imaging, HD technology, Ci System computer-assisted orthopedic surgery system, artificial spinal disc, and stealth-guided image navigation. This position coordinates the nursing activities between multiple service areas of a department. In the absence of the Director may assume twenty four (24) hour nursing responsibility for the department. May work with neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. LI-POST#
Required: 1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. 2. Four (4) years of experience in nursing, with minimum of two (2) years in area of specialty. 3. Demonstrated ability to set priorities, coordinate diversified and multiple activities, and make appropriate clinical and managerial decisions. Must possess advanced problem solving skills. 4. Successful completion of a management course prior to appointment, or within six (6) months of employment. 5. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Preferred: 1. National certification in specialty. 2. Previous management/charge nurse experience. 3. B.S. degree in Nursing.
