Lead a talented fashion forward retail team of designers with style and passion in a fast-paced customer focused retail environment.
Our Design Store Managers are proven leaders with a minimum of five years of experience running a design-related business, inspiring and motivating creative people, preferably in a commission-based, design-related retail or design firm environment. Tech-savvy, high-energy and on-trend, Design Store Managers act as the principal of their store locations and oversee every aspect of the business. The successful Design Store Manager drives new business and increases sales through marketing initiatives, including local-level grass roots marketing, manages local human resource functions, maintaining design standards and manages operations. Schedule flexibility, including some weekend, holiday and limited evening availability is required. This is an excellent entr e to the leadership and management career path at Ethan Allen.
* Proven track record leading a successful sales team in a retail environment
* Ability to recruit, hire and successfully manage team performance
* Effectively manage customer contacts and relationships to build sales volume and increase overall customer satisfaction
* Demonstrated use of technology and social media skills a plus
* Ability to manage overall operations of the business
