JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsible for supporting drafting and design needs for multiple customers. Helps to improve quality and delivery metrics, through mentoring, and training of new employees, and improves data base quality through model checking and adherence to customer, and company CAD standards.
*Service engineering support for failure history
*Airfoils, inner and outer bands
*Integration with Customer Engineering
*Identifying documentation shortfalls (requesting and storage of missing data, etc.)
*Requesting compressor aerodynamic support and subsequent integration
*Dynamics analysis including Campbell diagram and Goodman diagram generation
*Stress analysis and LCF lifting
*Forced response analysis support
*Tolerance stack update for interfaces
*Validation plan development
*Miscellaneous design activities
*Production assembly manufacturing integration and build support
*Customer will provide Purchasing and Manufacturing Engineering support, but candidate will require interface for cost and producibility input
*Production Material Review Board (MRB) engineering analysis if required during product manufacturing
*Integration efforts with customer global engineering if required
*Create FEA combined dynamic and static stress models
*Calculate deflection and manufacturing stresses based on the nominal model
*Perform static operating stress analysis
