Ingersoll Rand's Climate Solutions sector delivers energy-efficient HVACR solutions for customers globally. * Produce design documentation or other output of suitable volume, utilizing computer design systems.
* Understand and adhere to drafting practices, methods, and processes.
* Work from oral or written engineering instructions, procedures, schematics, drawings, and sketches.
* Responsible for completion of assignments and proper use of equipment.
* Detect and correct own errors.
* Maintain competency level of computer aided graphic system and other applications.
* Must be customer driven and quality minded in performing all assigned duties.
* Exercise good communication skills.
* Adhere to all company safety and security procedures.
* 10% travel to various locations may be required to support products or to train other personnel.

* Associate's degree in mechanical design from an accredited technical school and minimum 6 years of relevant experience required.
* Must understand basic principles of drafting and computer aided design and be able to apply those principles to assigned tasks.
* Working knowledge of Pro-E computer aided graphic system preferred.
* Must have working knowledge and experience in assigned areas: change control, bill of material, product definition & selection, machine design, castings, fabrication, sheet metal, GD&T and tolerance analysis, electrical, electronics, heat transfer, piping, and welding.
* Ability to function in a technical engineering team environment required.
