JOB TITLE: DESKSIDE SUPPORT

JOB LOCATION: EWING, NJ

JOB TYPE: CONTRACT - 12 MONTHS / CONTRACT TO HIRE / DIRECT HIRE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

* Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction
* Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
* Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
* Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation
* Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software (ServiceNow)
* Document internal procedures
* Assist with onboarding of new users
* Ensure each user has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment
* Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
* Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and softwarelicenses
* Report issues to the Service Desk for escalation
* Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
* Support Xerox WorkCentre 7775/7970/7875 Printers/Copiers
* Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
* Windows 10, Windows 8.1 & Windows 7.0 migration to Windows 10 experience must.
* Administer McAfee virus protection products(anti-virus/encryption) for each workstation
* McAfee EPO Antivirus/Antispyware Definition Updates
* Microsoft patch management through SCCM 2012
* Maintain and create images for company workstations using SCCM 2012
* Approve updates through Intune for Helix Devices
* Microsoft intunes management/knowledge is must
