JOB DESCRIPTIONAs part of the IT Infrastructure - Desktop Systems team, the Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for resolving tier-2 support problems on client devices. The person will also provide support of hardware and operating systems, installation, configuration, and administration of workstations, notebook computers, thin client, VOIP Phones, handheld devices, and other client devices. This person must exhibit task and time management skills, oral and written communication skills, technical expertise, and dedication to resolve problems effectively and efficiently minimizing disruptions, and share support of a 24-hour on-call rotation schedule. This person must also exhibit the ability to successfully perform these responsibilities, complying with CDH and IT policies, procedures, and standards.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum: 4 years experience in Information Systems analysis and implementation.
EDUCATION: Minimum: Equivalent experience., Preferred: Associates Degree or Certification in Support, or equivalent educational background in Computer Science or related area of expertise A , Information Systems support related certification.
