Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

With limited supervision, provides day to day maintenance and support for desktop systems and peripherals and internal and external private networks and connections to the internet. Installs, modifies, and makes minor repairs to personal computer hardware or software systems, and provides technical assistance and limited on-site training to system users. Monitors implemented security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Assists with installation and maintenance of local and wide area network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, and wiring.
2.Installs personal computers, software, and peripheral equipment.
3.Monitors functionality of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications.
4.Assists with installs, upgrades, and network testing of hardware and software components as required.
5.Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems. Corrects problem or coordinates fix as appropriate.
6.Installs, upgrades and configures network printing, directory, application software and file services.
7.Handles telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.
8.Interviews users to collect information about problems and leads user through diagnostic procedures to determine source of error.
9.Participates in coordination of third-party maintenance for network hardware, software, and telecommunications services as needed.
10.Responsible for the set up and or maintenance of user profiles on the network and within appropriate applications.
11.Responsible for complying with the various rules, regulations, policies and ethical standards governing the financial services industry including compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act.
12.Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent training
One to two years experience to achieve necessary level of knowledge
Experience in the following applications a plus:

Network Operating Systems
Servers
Active Directory Administration
Software
Remote Workstations
Microsoft Office Product Suite
CNE, MCSE or one to two years related experience desirable


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Sufficient knowledge of bank systems, retail and commercial products and services to provide technology support.
Knowledge of basic office suite principles, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally
24/7 On Call availability. Ability to schedule off hours activities on short notice.
