In this role, the selected candidate will define, update and maintain environment and software build process documentation; participate in Build Services analysis activities. Role: DevOps LeadDuration: 12 Months+Location: Seattle WA The manager is looking to move quickly on this so please let me know if you have any questions. What does a typical work day entail? Write Build Automation scripts Write Deployment Automation scripts Write automation code to integrate build processes and tools Write diagnostics and reporting code to automate troubleshooting tasks Define, update and maintain environment and software build process documentation Participate in Build Services analysis activities 1. What are the must/nice to have skills you are looking for in this CW? Must have: Software delivery automation- chef, Jenkins, octopus, Powershell (language-scripting) -Web systems- mange and trouble shoot areas- web- http, networking, windows os, is, .net, database -Technical process engineering- hierarchal workflow- process engineering- to take the human process and turning them into digital processes- need to work on engineering workflows- dev ops need, taking current or past process to turn then modern -Dev ops- cars assembly line- taking out the ppl and putting in robots in a lot of the areas Languages: Ruby, JSON, MSDSC, Powershell, python Technologies: Microsoft DSC, .Net, Jenkins, Chef, SQL, TFS 2. Tell me about your team? (size, culture, roles, initiatives, and hiring forecast) culture- collaborative, not being tied to the traditional roles- working on variability and could be pulled into something else to work on a project/fire. Agility and curiosity- to be looking for the next thing- what s the new tools/paradem shifts, etc 3. Personality and work style that will fit with the team?
