Department Job Description Dining Room Attendant for deseo Restaurant at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa Hourly Wage Plus Gratuities / Non-Exempt / Part Time Deseo offers a passionate and lively dining experience like no other in Arizona. Our menu features a distinctive and skillfully blended combination of flavors to create dishes that are bold and intriguing. We are currently searching for someone who can consistently provide personal and instinctive service, while assisting the service staff with the efficient quality presentation of food and beverage within our imaginative Latin-influenced restaurant. This critical position will be responsible for the continued refreshing of the restaurant area by ensuring tables are cleaned and tables are set properly. This individual will also perform other food service related duties, including the delivery of drink and food orders, clearing dishes from the table, and organizing and preparing silver, glassware, and plates. Due to the high guest contact, our selected candidate will present excellent communication skills. Previous experience ideally within a high volume, fine dining environment preferred. Independent, chain, country club, or hotel restaurant experience extremely beneficial. Requirements ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AVERAGE ' OF TIME 60 ' Clean, set and re-set tables continuously, assuming responsibility for station, tables and side duties. 20 ' Serve water, bread and coffee and greet guests by name whenever possible during the course of meal service. 20 ' Stack trays properly for efficient unloading for stewarding and ensure proper safety standards at all times. Other: Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
