This is an excellent opportunity to join our team in Charlotte, NC! As you lead the overall planning, design, implementation and support for our major ancillary clinical information systems, you will work in collaboration with senior-level customers and physicians to optimize the patient safety, quality and operational efficiencies enabled through effective information systems. Here, you will actively coordinate and participate in key IS governance councils and committees and foster strengthened relationships with key physician champions and with other IS leaders. This position is also responsible for managing the administrative activities of such areas as development of work plans, capital and operating budgets, development of team personnel and becoming a part of a senior clinical information systems leadership team that collaborates closely with other IS leaders in support of our electronic medical records initiative and other strategic priorities.
Qualified candidates must posses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Care Administration, Business Administration or a related field with at least 5 years of experience managing the design, development, implementation, and optimization of systems in a complex organization. Prefer Master's degree with experience in leading large clinical information systems programs, including either hospital or physician practice systems.
